Lupa Foods Achieves Planet Mark Certification for the Fourth Year Running
23 April 2026
We are proud to share that Lupa Foods has been Planet Mark Certified for the fourth year running, marking another important milestone in our sustainability journey.
Our latest certification recognises an 18.9% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions on a market-based basis compared with the previous reporting period, while also reflecting the continued expansion of our carbon measurement. It is a positive step forward and one that reinforces our long-term commitment to responsible growth, transparency and continuous improvement.
The current certification covers the reporting period from 01 February 2025 to 31 January 2026. The certificate also confirms measured market-based carbon emissions of 113.0 tCO2e and measured emissions per employee of 3.6 tCO2e.
For us, Planet Mark is about more than annual certification. It provides an independent framework to help us measure our impact, understand where emissions sit across the business, and identify where further progress can be made. The supporting measurement report shows that Scope 3 emissions make up the majority of the measured footprint, giving us a broader picture of the areas that matter most as we continue to improve.
This achievement reflects a real team effort across the business. Commenting on the result, CEO Manish said:
“Well done to Claire for all the hard work that went into achieving this great result, and thank you to all our Sustainability Champions. This is a very important part of our business, indeed one of our strategic pillars, so it was important that we maintain this certification. We’ll carry on improving so that we achieve our end goal of carbon neutral by 2050.”
We would also like to recognise Claire and our Sustainability Champions for the hard work behind this year’s result and for the continued focus they bring to this important area of the business.
This latest Planet Mark milestone also sits within a wider sustainability journey across the Group. Alongside our own progress at Lupa Foods, it is encouraging to see the recent EcoVadis Silver Medal achievement for Geia Group, reflecting a broader commitment to responsible business practices, robust sustainability management and continuous improvement.
Together, these milestones demonstrate that sustainability remains a clear focus for the business. While there is always more to do, we are proud of the progress being made and remain committed to building on it year after year.
As we move forward, we will continue to strengthen our ESG approach, improve the breadth and quality of our reporting, and take practical steps that support our longer-term carbon goals.
